This is pretty minor, but it's been consistent for the last few days so I thought I'd mention it. Anytime I get a message from the auction house about an expired auction, my message notification bubble tells me I have 51 new messages. Doesn't matter how many messages there actually are, it always says 51. This only happens with auction expiry automatic messages, at least so far.

i just started having the same issue, and actually got a screencap of it because i thought it was so odd
i cleared my cache, so we'll see if the problem appears again :')

I have same problem over here. I nearly got a heart attack seeing such number on my fairly quiet account x) Reading messages of course helped, not sure if it will appear again. Cache cleared ;]

Well I cleared my cache this morning as you suggested, following the directions in the link you provided. This evening when my auction expired it still told me I had 51 new messages. Looks like other people are having the same issue.
Just to clarify, it doesn't do this with any other type of message, I just get the usual '1 message' notif.
