TOPIC | Progenitor Dragon Tertiary Swapped
1 2
Short Description of Bug: My two Progenitor Dragon's have swapped Tertiary Colors. (New Player)

Background: I was checking my dragons out in the Lair and noticed that something was not right with the colors for the Primary Progenitor, of whom I got to pick her colors. I specifically remembered choosing:
P: White
S: Stonewash
T: Sky
(I was waiting to start playing for over a month so I specifically made sure to pick these colors after long deliberation and even had them written down)

However today her Tertiary was listed as "Storm". I thought this was odd, and also familiar, and checked on the only other dragon in my liar; her starting partner (that I didn't pick the colors for). I remembered his Tert was a purple color, but close to hers on the wheel, and sure enough today HE has "Sky" listed as his Tert instead of Storm like he did before.

The time-frame which I noticed this was just today, yesterday I spent staring at them too much to not see this swap; but I could be wrong since their Terts aren't displayed on the images of them.

To Reproduce: I haven't the foggiest. I don't know if it was something I did or something involved with the server stuff that happened today. I can't search the forums atm to find out if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

I don't know if this is something that happened to just new folk, or if it happened to any other new members. If this is just a lone case or if other things are at work. I know this is perhaps a big problem that I can't have fixed, which is a shame, but wanted to post to see if this fate befell any other new players starters.

I don't think you can choose the dragons Tertiary, can you? I remember not being able to when I signed up, and in the recent sign ups I know my boyfriend was not able to either, if I had been I wouldn't have picked brown for my progenitor! XD

I only joined like 4 days after you and I picked my progenitor's tertiary. I had no clue what it did and couldn't see it on the image, so I picked banana because I liked the word, and now she'll never have a tertiary gene.

I got stuck with rust too, which is ew on a purple dragon. I guess I'll just have to avoid Gembonding her, which is regretable (yeah...as if I'll ever get a gembond scroll...XP)

NOTE: Dergs in my lair with scries are just ideas, & are subject to change/not final.

Strange...I know I was unable to pick the tertiary because I wouldn't have picked Carmine as I loath pink.

I was unable to pick a tertiary when I joined near the last hours when the window was still open. So I think you maybe have things wrong?

You shouldn't be able to pick your Tertiary. If you did that would probably be the real bug.

Yep. I never got to pick the tertiary for mine, either! You're likely mistaken.

Really? I'm sure I spent ages trying to figure out what difference the tertiary made, and on seeing none every time the image refreshed just went with banana.

I may be mistaken, but that is a really weird false memory to have.

Oh well.
