Hey there!

Here's a quick guide to making breeding cards. It's simple and fun once you've gotten the hang of it. (Plus it'll help you save on commissions!)

In this tutorial I'll be using GIMP.
I highly recommend you download it since it's free and easy to use.

If you have a lot of breeding pairs I suggest you use this: http://keelanrosa.com/fr/
Or make really short breeding cards!
(tbh, for me this site took longer. But that may just be me)

Here's the site I use for the colour outcomes: http://fr.fintastic.net/

If you've worked with GIMP before, but still haven't gotten the hang of breeding cards feel free to skip ahead to what you need help with.

The first card always starts out being hard but the ones after are a breeze!

If you're new to GIMP I suggest playing around with it and using all the tools.

Step 1:
Save the images of the dragons.

Go to your lair and save the images of the breeding pair!
This seems fairly simple right?
Save them into a place you'll find them. Like your documents!
(You can save images by right clicking on the picture)








Step 2:
Open GIMP and go under "File: New..."

Set the size at about 500 x 200. Feel free to make the height taller if you need more space.
But don't hit "OK" yet! Hit the "Advanced Options" button.
Under "Fill with:" change "Background Color" to "Transparency"
