[columns]Ah, welcome to my thread. I'm Mr. Scamander but all my friends call me Newt. I'm on a quest to study all the [s]beasts[/s] familiars in Sorneith. I'll be traveling through each venue in hopes of taming the creatures in order to study and protect them. This thread is what I'll use to document my travels as well as keep track of familiars that have been obtained and ones we're still looking for. Throughout my travels my appearance may change. Don't be alarmed if you don't see me as the handsome Fae I am now, anymore. [b]Edit:[/b] It appears I've become a Tundra thanks to an incredibly rare gift granted to me by a Bluefin Charger I encountered on my travels. Should a boss familiar be collected before the venue is finished it will be considered a rare find and will receive an extra bit of lore / story. [*] If a new familiar is released for a venue that has already had all familiars caught Newt must travel back to that venue and collect the familiar before he may continue his research in the venue he was in before. [*] Familiars can not be purchased from the AH but they can be gifted from other players (this is just here because I have gotten gifts in the past before randomly and I want to make sure that I have a way to explain where they came from / thank whomever sent me something. [*] Each time a familiar is collected it must be documented. If the familiar is a duplicate it must be indicated at the bottom but it does not need to be written about for plot unless the familiar was a gift. [*] A new page will be written each time Newt comes across a new familiar. This must be written diary style with a date, time and location the familiar was picked up along with a small piece of story. Every familiar gained hereafter will have something written unless they're duplicates to which I'll choose whether or not to include them depending on how many times they're dropped. Diary entries will go for the whole day and will be updated as I progress. I'm in college and exams are coming up so it depends on the amount of time that I have to grind. I won't be documenting notable loot since it doesn't have anything to do with story progression. Also note that should an event occur where I am gifted a familiar I'll ask you to choose a dragon from your lair to meet Newt in the story so that I can add some context behind where the familiar came from. Newt paused for[/indent] a moment to check his log - ticking off familiars as he scrolled. His claws grasped around a feathered quill which could only be presumed to be gathered from one of his many excursions in the Training Grounds. The quill shimmered in the moonlight - iridescent red, a favored color. "There still so much I need to see.." Newt sighed as he checked his pocket watch he kept within his blue coat. "Still.. I've gathered so many new specimens, including many duplicates." Newt returned the quill into his breast pocket and placed his journal into his satchel that hung loosely over his shoulder. His brown-eyed gaze fell upon the moon that was now high in the sky. The soft rays illuminating his hut that he'd set up only moments ago. Made of fallen leaves and several branches that the forest was known for being abundant in; he crawled inside. Tail gently tucking over weary eyes that began to droop heavily. "Maybe I'll have more luck in the afternoon.." he muttered to himself before loosing to a yawn and eventually sleep that snuck its way in.
