Clan Mythweaver Introduction

The Mythweaver clan‘s territory runs along the coast line backing into the forest dividing light from shadow. In general they are a friendly clan welcoming travelers, especially if the visitor is willing to share news and tales. The clan as a whole prizes knowledge in all its forms and many of its members are dedicated to accumulating and storing information. Despite this friendliness, they take unwelcome intrusions very seriously and are fully capable and willing to defend their home.

Recently Mythos came across a scroll regarding dream walking. Written in an ancient language were instructions on how to transverse the veil that separates physical reality from the Dreamscape. After some initial exploration, most of the clan has made mirror dens in the dream realm to varying degrees. Dreamwalking is a magic that can be practiced by all elements. However, they each have different ways in which they must approach it

Light dragons mediate on a singular point of light, often a candle. Shadow dragons have learned to teleport through the shadows into the dream realm. Ice focus on a reflective surface and then step through. Plague dragons must ingest a special mushroom, although first must spend a few weeks adjusting to the toxins in said mushrooms. Water dragons use waterfalls as gateways. Arcane dragons have constructed a spell that they claim is actually quite simple. Fire dragons jump into a blaze once it has hit a specific temperature, a number that they refuse to share., fire dragons jump into a blaze once it has hit a specific temperature, a number that they refuse to share. Nature dragons use secret gateways in world trees. Lastly are Lightning; of all the flights, Lightning dragons have had the most trouble with this due to their highly ordered and logical minds. However, they have developed a large gateway that uses energy and a code to activate. Once running they can pass easily back and forth.

While exploring the dream realm, Mythos made a fascinating discovery. Some eggs would reflect into the dream realm covered in runes. He is making a point of searching down these eggs and offering to raise the youngsters. They are naturally occurring guardians of the dream realm and do not need any outside magic to travel back and forth.
Recently the clan’s Dreamweavers made a disturbing discovery. On the edge of the Dreamscape where the Shade has started to corrupt it, a swirling mass of shadows appeared. The Dreameaters observed the mass from a distance before reposting back to Mythos. The mass has taken on an insubstantial form of a great dragon. It radiates despair and a coldness that not even Ice dragons are immune to. Mythos sent some of the Dreamweavers to study the shape closer. This action cost the clan dearly, as the shape absorbed the members and in return became more material. Since then they watch from a distance, making sure no others come near the nightmare being they have named the Void.

Satele has always tried her best to live a balanced life. She believes that a simple life dedicated to helping others is one of the most important elements to having a good life. Despite her strong desire to help others, she is not a pacifist and will fight for the dragons she loves and her clan.

Satele met Wrathion after joining the clan. The aloof young male drove her nuts at first. He always came off as too fierce and prone to indulging in violence. She soon realized though, that he was her balance and together they made a strong couple capable of taking on the things life threw at them.

Recently the clan council elected her and Wrathion to leadership. She has accepted this duty with humility and a promise to continue to lead the clan towards the future they have envisioned for it. Slowly this little Fae is transforming into the dragoness she is meant to be.

Satele recently went into a deep meditation within the dream realm. When she returned her body had been remade and a pearl appeared at her side. Her scales now glowed with ancient runes. The clan views this as a sign that they made the correct choice in leadership.

The Drac'Kyr
Deep within the Dreamrealm lies a pocket of endless sky and tall spires reaching above the clouds. This is the home to the Drac’Kyr. How they truly got there has been lost through the ages. Interestingly enough all of them had been Imperials at some point that seemingly fell in combat. Now they bear the form of guardians. Their scales are burnished and glow with an eternal light. They prize combat prowess over all else. He was happy to roam the sea selling information and charming the various land dwelling ladies. During a brief stay on a small island, he met Merithra. At the time she was a tiny but feisty Fae. They shared a desire for the nice things in life and a reckless enjoyment. Eventually she convinced him they needed a home where their business could flourish and maybe raise a family. He agreed and they settled in Fishspine Reef. There the clan grew. Senegos’ reputation attracted many followers and oracles. Merithra started to organize the clan to make sure everyone had a job and were benefiting the clan. It was during this time that Mythos joined the clan. Senegos started out not looking for a family or clan. He felt there was something more here than a band of pirates and spies.
