So I did a couple of sketch requests here, and I'm planning to open my own art shop eventually. I have zero idea how to price these though :C any help/comment/critique would be welcome!

SachiNaau Your sketches are very beautiful and expressive. I love the ones with a color or some highlights/shadow. If I was to toss a price range maybe around 75-150kt per sketch. All depends on how much you enjoy tossing in the colors.
As for your full color bust, that is beautiful! The lighting and texture is wonderful. I'm tossing out a wider range since its been a while since I had my art shop open but I'd say between 200-500gems.
At least thats what I would price out at... take it with a grain of salt but I hoped it might have helped some.

Personally, i love all the different poses you put the dragons in! It really expresses who they are and it makes the sketches come to life!
(I can only do three poses... angry, happy or sad XD)

Leika thank you! I usually put in colors where there was an interesting pop of them, so it's largely a case-by-case basis. I'm thinking about offering mono/duochrome with an option of an accent color for the same-ish price, just to make things interesting :D When you had your art shop, what payment option was more popular, treasure or gems? *is doing market research :D*

thefaceradar thanks! the different poses is a trick I learned while doing human portraits, it's a nifty way to avoid every one of them looking the same :D even if you think you're not good enough to offer advice, I'd still like to hear what you would price these at! I spend anywhere between ten minutes to an hour on them, depending on how difficult my laptop/tablet driver is being, and depending on how good my reference is (I'm looking at you, bogsneaks, with your exactly one available head/neack position) I'll take note of your ping request, thank you :)

I agree with the sketch price range that Leika stated and maybe for fully colored portraits...around 250k+ sounds fair!

thefaceradar the poor bogsneaks can eff off xD I had to consult one of my friends for how the crests are set up because all the official artwork has the. exact. same. head position. Seriously, check it out, it's ridiculous :,D
For full color portraits I miiiight even go a bit higher, dunno if anybody would buy that though. Depicting the genes, textures, apparell, accents accurately is a loooot of work and I still need to fiddle with it to get it right :D

Really? Did it work out ok? I will check it out! (that's funny, but also it sounds super annoying...)
If some things take you more time maybe you could set it up like an adopt shop where you have a base price and different genes and apparel cost more additionally?

Treasure seemed to be the most popular form of payment or a mix. Though I would get one or two that pay all gems. I also allowed ppl yo pay at any time. All up front, half down half when finished or all when it was finished. Most tended to pay up front but for any that waited I would watermark the artwork (pretty heavy watermark) till payment was in. Something I wish I would have done was write the dragons number on them so it can't be "used" for another dragon some might have that is close or the same at the subject. I've been playing around in photoshop again thinking about maybe reopening but its still up in the air.
