Many have come and gone among us, the clan's populace fluctuating from a great many to only a handful. Some have had an impact on the history of our clan, whilst others have simply come and gone like the wind. From our time among the Windsinger's followers to our newfound home among the Stormcatcher's workers, all who have come and gone still hold a place within our history and within our hearts. Our Clan remains strong and united even when those who choose to leave do so, or when we mark those honored to be one of our exalted to join the Stormcatcher's workforce. Many turned to her as an unofficial Nanny of sorts, and she happily looked after hatchlings while their parents were off to do work for the clan, or simply to take a break. She trained many to prepare them for exalt or raised hatchlings that had been brought to the clan alone. Since the fall of her mate left her with no children to inherit her name, her adoption of the younger mirror was met with outcry. Said pirate had grown among many who resented her for her history, despite sharing a name with the clan's founder. It's likely that it made the resentment worse. The matriarch at the time dubbed her with her name, a mark of inheritance, before leaving without raising the current heir to the responsibilities of the matriarch. The clan was left in shambles, with much of the clan confused with who to follow. This lead to the clan rescinding the exalt, forcing him to watch his siblings depart for a future at the Windsinger's side. Truthfully, he had feared the idea of being at a higher being's beck and call. His guilt for his siblings soon faded as he found his place among the clan's defensive squadron, before forming the stealth corp. When illness struck the clan and mentions of exalt became common, his fear carried him away from his home in wind lands. Having become close with her lead to Nivur following her matriarch when she left to join the ranks of the Windsinger, joining her twin sister Nivur. However, his newfound position offered him a place to hoard his goods while remaining relatively safe. The clan soon became acquainted with his pilfering habits as he was caught sifting through graves or abandoned lairs while on the job, and when illness struck the clan, he was the first to leave, taking his stolen goods with him. Both had bonded over their focus on mineralogy, Shearth being more generalized and Kesleth on her journey for the specific bleeding geode she took name after. The two had become inseparable over the years, often getting into sticky situations by getting into small tunnels and systems that the pair of Fae could only rely on the other to get themselves out of. Until Shearth disappeared on an expedition, and couldn't be traced. Eyrnami had expressed a plethora of concerns with the lack of healers and mages in the clan despite little work to be done at the time. Auraklan had begun with alchemically reducing common plague beasts to try and understand the corruption. It was by complete accident that she had fallen into her own brew, knocking her brain just a bit out of its place, but resulting in quite the surprising find that she could implant consciousness into certain beasts. She was Valostine's greatest inspiration, but he had also noticed her steadily declining sanity, and been the one to recommend her for exalt. She had to be forcibly removed from her research on her final day, practically foaming at the mouth.[/columns]
