So I don't know if any of you guys follow (currently or in the past) this friendly art competition over on the Art forums on Neopets called NNTM (Neopia's Next Top Model), but if you don't, then the basic jist is, you draw your pets in anthro form as if they were a model, according to different art challenges that are given by a group of judges. For example, one challenge might say: "Design an outfit based on an emotion and draw your model in a pose and expression representing that emotion". Then the judges evaluate you, but it's based more on creativity and the way you tackled the art challenge than it is based on drawing skill.
There's several rounds, starting with the auditions, and at the end of each round, one person gets eliminated, similar to America's Next Top Model (hence the name). And at the end, there's a winner, and overall it's just lots of fun for everyone involved and the challenges allow you to practice your skills!

But anyways, what I was wondering was, would anyone be interested in doing a similar friendly competition here, perhaps called "Sornieth's Next Top Model", or something entirely different, but with more or less the same concept? There are a few judges, and the participants draw their dragons as gijinka/anthro/humanoids and play along with the art challenges, with someone being eliminated each round until it's over?
I think it could be a lot of fun! Depending on if there's interest, we could also change some things. For example, on Neopets there's no user-contests allowed with prizes, but I don't think that's a rule on Flight Rising, so technically we could give a prize to the winner(s)! I don't have much to offer, but I can put in a modest amount of gems and coins for the winner if we were to do this. Either way though, prize or no prize, the overall point is to build a nice art community with a friendly competition and practice our skills and have fun!
Or, if there's not a lot of interest for gijinka/anthro/humanoid characters, we could either do quad/normal dragon instead or allow for any kind of model to enter.
I'm currently entering the NNTM competition (auditions end on June 22nd if you want to join!) and I just thought maybe there's some interest for something similar to be done here on Flight Rising?
