I'm running some sort of RPG games using FR lore and here's my expanded world location list, if anybody was curious.

It's... in a google doc because it's way, way too big to put in a forum post. I think I at least tripled the amount of world locations or something? All the Coliseum venues should be in there. Those are the ones I was haziest on; let me know if they seem to be misplaced. I'm currently going through and moving those around based on the descriptions of the familiar drop items from the enemies in them that have any sort of specification regarding where those enemies live. Additionally, any locations mentioned in the story posts (Bounty of the Elements and the gaoler, banescale, and veilspun lore posts) should also be in here. Let me know if I missed any of those.

Here it is!

If you ever want to use this feel free to do so, there's a liiiittle bit of some extra world lore that I built specifically for the game concerning the Weft and the barrier/the walls that bolster the barrier but that's just for my game and its purposes, don't worry about that :P

I'll keep updating it as I create more locations.

OH EDIT this is in no way official, I just made up a bunch of stuff and also used the new Light locations from the proposed map update.

OK that's all! Enjoy!

EDIT with the upcoming map update this project might be kicked back into gear or abandoned entirely, it depends on what the new map looks like. Stay tuned for updates.

Update: I've added two more portals (or, rather, the ends of the same portal): The Iron Portal, leading between the dunes on the eastern side of the Watcher Palace in Dragonhome to the southern border of the burned woods north of the Molten Scar in the Ashfall Wastes and back.

EDIT: Also added the two Lifeportals, leading between the Labyrinth and the Wasteland!

Sure, go right ahead! That's why it's here after all :D

Update: Added the town of Venture, near the Fortress of Ends, for dragons seeking to learn more about the gaolers and the Icewarden's prison.

EDIT: Also added in a short descrip of the potion shop in Musky River. That definitely won't be important later, no way.
Also added bedrock for later Finale Location.

Update: Added the Veiled Caverns, an area mixed in with the Northern Reach on the north shore of the Viridian Labyrinth.

The Caverns are a common hideaway for pirates, and those dealing in illicit goods. The caverns are not well-mapped, and can become hidden when the tide rises. Some of them are death traps. There are stories about treasures hidden within those damp caves.

Update: Added the Old Bones, a trial and proving grounds for Plague dragons located somewhere in the northeastern portion of the Scarred Wasteland.

"Huge, half-constructed, half-uncovered boneyard, containing the skeletons of creatures larger than dragons and far more ancient. Their origin is entirely unknown, but the dragons have built shelters in their gargantuan corpses. They have also built what amounts to Sornieth’s largest obstacle course, and the area is used as a proving grounds for young dragons to show off their physical strength and dexterity, running courses through the ever-shifting bones. Dragons can live here - but only if you’re okay with hearing younger dragons sprinting across your roof at all hours of the day and night.
Contests are sometimes held here, to settle arguments or rivalries. The Old Bones aren’t restricted to only the elite, either; young plague dragons can come here to play and start to really get a handle on how to navigate a complicated, dangerous world."

Update: Added the Barrier Reef, an additional protective measure that serves both as unique and beautiful biome and as bolster for the barrier on the northeastern corner of Sornieth.

"North of the Reach and east of the Gladeveins and the walls of trees that protect the Labyrinth from the outside world, across a shallow stretch of ocean, lies a long string of atolls and islands that form a massive tropical coral reef. The reef curves around the northeastern corner of Sornieth, its base merging with the barrier, and serves as additional protection against sea attacks. The reef ends as it stretches towards Dragonhome waters on the western side, but extends much further south, far past the latitude where it should, on the eastern side. It adds additional support to the barrier all the way down to Light territory, where it abruptly ends at the border between flight lands."
