TOPIC | Art shop interest check?
I've been drawing dragons here and there for a while, opened little shops here and there but nothing with enough interest to keep as a permanent thing. I was wondering, should I try again? You can check examples of my art below and on my deviantart, i would offer works according to the prices on my pricelist here, as well as offer slots for fr currency! Let me know what you think of my art, prices and if you'd like a ping if i decide to open it, thanks a lot for stopping by! Holy heck your art is amazing!!! I would definitely snag a commission for my dergs if I wasn’t so poor lol.

But please, you definitely should try and open another art shop!

Wassup my bros
your prices are reasonable for your art but personally out of my range- just wanted to say that your painted backgrounds are GORGEOUS!! I love the amount of detail that you pack into each scene, and the color ranges are just stunning! You should totally open up a shop

Lore store :)
@DragonFeral @macaroni33 thanks a lot for your feedback, i'm so glad you both enjoy my art!
I think maybe an ych shop would allow for lower prices, as a second option. not everyone has 1kg and above to spend on art anyway!

Your art is gorgeous! Just to let you know, regular rates artists are taking for art rarely works on fr (this may sound weird but it just happens). If you want to keep your shop reachable for regular user it would be better to do ychs for dragons (as many people are doing in adoptables forum, price varies from 30g to ~500g, sometimes more or less) or more affordable simple sketches / doodles. If you'd prefer not - you will find some people interested in your regular art for sure, and I suggest keeping usd price listed in fr shop too then. Cheaper pieces will take less time and more people will be interested, regular priced art may be waiting a while for customer but payment is up to effort. It just depends how busy you want to be ;)

(And boi, art of this pink / blue kitty on your DA is precious)

@MistyGold
Your art is certainly really good, and I'd bet you'd be able to get customers. However, from what I've seen FR is not the best place for USD commissions, so I wouldn't rely on it as a stable source of USD income. But 1000g for a bust isn't unreasonable and I think it'd sell.

If you can/want to, I'd also consider trying to make some anthro examples. There seem to be a pretty big furry userbase on FR, so if you show that you can and are willing to do that kind of commissions you might gain even more traction. Of course the same applies for humans, but I'm assuming that's not quite what you prefer to draw?
