Greetings. I do art. Let's begin.
I am an aspiring character conceptual artist and designer. My art style is very flexible and I can violently shapeshift it with ease. This year I'd like to be more productive, improve my art and be more active on drawing. I am focusing on a character design commission for someone, so most drawings here are free-time, warm up or made when I was taking a break on it. I draw creatures, anthros and a wide variety of weird things, I will almost always dodge drawing humans.
You are free to post requests for art, but please keep in mind I won't draw every request as I must focus my attention on the lengthy procedure of character designing (for Araaska), and I will selectively pick requests that spark my attention. I'd also like to emphasize that I will turn my eyes away if I feel like you only came here to nab free art.
Advice is more than welcome!! Lineart and anatomy are favored.

Creatures, concepts (mostly), whatever comes to my mind, anthros, cosmic terrors/horrors, animals and other things.
» Tools?
Medibang (Lastest version), a lengthy folder full of inspirational drawings from other artists, my custom brushes, a computer mouse and a mighty amount of dedication.
» Can you give me advice?
Yes. Just ask. Keep in mind that the essential thing for improvement is BELIEVING IN YOURSELF and PERSISTENCE.

@VeridisQuo Oh, I really really like your art! The character concepts of Mierako are so cute!!
Do you have any tips for a beginner artist? I'm trying to get better, especially at birds. I'd like to draw more of my crow OC, Askr. I would not be upset if you decided to draw him lol

@VeridisQuo Do you have any tips for getting things even on right vs left? Like, I'm fine with drawing stuff on the left side (say, eyes or arms), but as soon as I try and draw the same thing on the right it turns out all wonky.

If you're talking about symmetry, then a simple way to solve this problem is to draw only one side and then mirror it. If you're talking about a drawing like the Mierako ref, a sketch to get an idea of how the other side needs to look is essential. Never, and I repeat, NEVER start drawing lineart without preparation unless you have alot of experience on drawing things without a sketch. If you already draw the sketch first and you're moving onto the lineart, I suggest you to constantly flip the image to the opposite side. If it looks wonky and weird when flipped, correct it until it looks okay compared to the other side.

Thank you so much, especially for the tip about the "never do lineart without a sketch" part!^^ What about traditional drawing, though? I can't really draw digital right now – I just have a laptop trackpad, and that's not exactly conducive to drawing ahahaha.

If you're doing traditional, turn the drawing towards a light source.
