The song we are using is Take to the Sky by Owl City :3c Because there's still a good amount of parts left to fill, we're opening this up to the greater flight rising community! I would really love to do the two water parts! My flight is ice, but half of my lair consists of pirates and sea-faring dragons--I would love to draw ocean scenery and shipwrecks!

Could I inquire on how to sign up and other smaller technicalities such as, is it one piece per lyric, or is it open to interpretation to what I see fit? Also, would something such as a still background and movable elements in the form of overlays be acceptable? (For example, I can paint the shipwreck and add specks of water droplets on a separate layer, as well as my dragons soaring through the skies, which can be animated through editing. However, I'm not familiar with editing, I would only be able to provide separated elements.)

@kavalkade I've never participated in anything like this, but Take to the Sky is one of my favourite songs by Owl City, and I'd love to give this a go! That being said, how do I sign up?

@GlitchingFlame, I can most definitely put you down for parts 1 and 23 - and those are all very good questions!

How you design your part is entirely up to your discretion o7 If you would like to make it one scene, or five different scenes, it's just how you see that part and how you think it goes with the music. Overlays for animation, like in your example, are 100% acceptable as well (and something I plan to use myself, I'm a fan like the almost-parallax effect it has, and it spruces up a generally static background to just have even a few moving elements)!

Cool! However, I don't have knowledge or software to animate the moving parts, would it be a hassle for someone else to do it?
