Welcome to Flight Rising's National Lore Writing Month![/center] The goal of NaLoWriMo is for FR members to help each other meet creative writing goals with a focus on [b]LORE[/b], plus some added incentives in the form of prizes! There will be four tiers that you can aim to reach by the end of the month: [LIST] [*] [b]Writer's Tier:[/b] Write a total of 11,662 words [*] [b]Drabble Tier:[/b] Write a total of 23,324 words [*] [b]Story Tier:[/b] Write a total of 34,986 words [*] [b]Novel Tier:[/b] Write a total of 50,000 words [/LIST] Participation will earn you a ticket for the end of the month raffle. The more you write and the more often you write the more tickets you'll earn. See the selection of raffle prizes below. The focus will be on writing LORE but writing [u]any[/u] creative words will contribute to your totals, whether that's RP, short stories, a novel, etc. Note that your writing does not have to be FR-related. I've (suddenly) taken initiative to keep the tradition alive this year. Because I wasn't planning on hosting this year there has been no pre-planning for badges or prizes. Badges will be uhhh significantly less fancy than they were in the past, as I can do some graphics but am certainly no artist. & I will be desperately hoarding items to make some raffle prizes throughout the month! Something is better than nothing, right? Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I found this thread! I decided that I would try and use the NaNoWriMo hype to write some FR lore and short stories for my dragons just last week! I had no idea that other people would be doing it too, so hello!! Haha

Oh I'm so glad people are finding this :D if it was just gonna be me for the whole month I was gonna delete the thread LOL

@naranciag Thank you so much for offering! You're more than welcome to do daily prizes. Also feel free to wait until we have a bit of a gathering first, if you'd like. If you need a link to the thread from 2018/2019 to get a feel for how 3idolon used to do the daily prizes lmk and I'll dig up the links!

ALSO thank you for bringing up protected ranges. That was it! My bad lol I'm a google sheets newbie. Should be fixed now.

@Rowdy Yes, thank you so much for hosting - I'm super excited to find this! I spent some time scrolling the NaNo Rebels page looking for people doing something similar and just didn't notice anything there and I wasn't sure if I wanted to mention it there myself haha

I'm going to pm you about some prizes, too, I'd like to contribute to the pool if that's okay!
