@Svecounia72 @BardsTale OKAY so, I figured this was the most appropriate place to work out the details of that lore bit we're going to share with our fancy boys. For reference, here's mine. He's a professional butler currently not serving a specific master and who does tea time house calls as explained in his T.E.A.S. business entry. His role in this interaction is basically that he's serving Legba and Louis. Questions that need answering: Which one contacted him? (It's assumed that whoever did saw his business ad in the T.E.A.S. newsletter - first edition, of course.) Where are they meeting? (Dicentra doesn't just go to homes. He'll provide his service almost anywhere - again, as long as it fits the description in his business ad.) How many hours were purchased? Those are more specific to my own dragon, but there are other things we need to define, too. Like, which of your guys contacted the other? Was there some sort of correspondence for some time before they decided to get together for tea? And so on. LET THE DISCUSSION COMMENCE!

Sorry this took me so long! Here's a little something:

Since Legba is off on business trips a lot, it would probably make the most sense if he was doing business in the Windswept Plateau (Zephyr Steppes specifically) where he then met Louis. Louis likes to have his tea outside, so maybe Legba happened to pass by and decided to strike up conversation. Let's say that Louis invited him to join in on the tea, but Legba was low on time and promised to meet up again later, which would then end up involving Dicentra once we can figure out where he comes in?

Anyway, as for your idea, would it really just be happenstance? I thought that maybe one saw the other in the newsletter and deiced to contact the other. (Seems less contrived to me, but whatever you guys like is okay by me.) I do like the premise of "I don't have time right now so let's set up an appointment some other time!"

Sorry it took me a bit too. I was out of town and just got back in. I love the direction of all of this. I haven't written out a lot of lore on Legba, but big concept is a gentleman to a fault but has a villain streak. However, he plays nice until given reason not too. I like this concept of Louis being the one to bring in Dicentra. It makes a lot of since since Legba is out and about. What kind of business do you think Louis would have with him? Also, this sounds like it's really shaping up well! After all, from what can be read in Louis' T.E.A.S. description, he's kind of dramatic. Paired up with more serious but equally fancy dragons, this could really shape up to be a fun trio! Especially if Louis is the sort to be a bit oblivious, being around a couple of dragons who are a tad dangerous (but usually sleepers.)

I look forward to seeing what you have to say to these questions that Bard (can I call you Bard?) brought up, like if the two actually were old friends. Or what if they were old colleagues, or went to fancy school together or maybe their families knew each other or something? There are many ways they could have had preestablished relations, especially if they'd only really heard about each other before, instead of having actually met in person.

I'm assuming this would be their first meeting with Dicentra, though. Variety can really add to believability and make interactions more interesting. :)

@BardsTale @Cryoluxa Again I apologize for the long wait, I'm currently juggling finals, graduation, and transferring to a new university so until early May I'm pretty swamped lol

But anyways, I like the idea of Louis and Legba having some sort of previous connection, but I'm drawing a blank on what it should be. Otherwise, here's an idea: Legba was passing by the Windswept Plateau on business (which I'll let Bard decide on) but knew that Louis would be there and decided to stop by for a quick chat. Maybe Legba had seen an opinion piece in TEAS written by Louis (about the best types of White Peach tea) and sent him a letter along the lines of "Hi, I saw your article, I'll be in the area and we should meet up!"

So Legba comes by, but perhaps his potentially villainous business has taken an unexpected turn so he doesn't have as much time to mingle. He drops by to say hello and insists that they meet up again. Louis hears the word 'business' and thinks "oh how dreadful, well you have fun with that" and has no idea that whatever Legba is doing might not be so good. He's just happy to have a new tea buddy :)

Eventually Louis sends a letter back to Legba about arranging another meet-up, and he has since heard about Dicentra through TEAS and thought that it would be lovely to have him join the group as well. He invites the other two back to the Windswept Plateau for a pleasant little get-together to discuss teas and fancy living out on a lovely outcropping by the Singer's Brook.

I came up with all this pretty much on the spot so it's probably a bit messy, but thoughts?

I really like this layout. I have some ideas of what Legba was up to. Pretty sure it was pressing some surrounding dragons for a "protection contract" to protect them from his mate. However, being a dragon of finer things the opportunity (opprotuni-tea ;) ) to still find something for himself is far too tempting to pass up. So I can see him telling Adjessi (his mate) that he needs to go out for business, but really low key he is going to meet up with Louis and Dicentra for tea time.

Alright; that sounds right. :) It was the wording of "invites the other two" that confused me.

So, it sounds like it's Louis who hires Dicen (one of Dicentra's nicknames, not that just anyone would know that) and basically sets up the tea time, including organizing a time and place for meetup. Do I have that right?
