basically, i am extremely very bad at pricing art, and so i ask the people: please help?? i would appreciate it SO MUCH. i should probably make more shaded art but i’m gonna b honest, i simply don’t have any good examples of that atm. so all i’ve got is some colored sketches. i just accidentally inspired myself to make a super detailed drawing but uhhhh we will see how that turns out.
anyways, excuse my rambling, i’m mainly lookin for prices in USD, but treasure/gems are helpful as well!
here are my examples, thank you in advance to anyone who tosses some advice my way! (i am subbed btw)

I'd say probably a base price of around $15 or maybe $20, might be hard to get too many sales on FR at that price though unless you also offer g/t slots cuz a lot of the userbase is younger. You could also potentially charge more than that, I haven't really commissioned anyone with USD but I've seen people with similar level of detail/effort put into their art charge more around $30. I'm not sure how that would convert to g/t though, a lot of artists tend to under price their art in g/t as well as in real currency on here from what I understand (but that doesn't mean you need to).
Hopefully some of that is helpful even though I don't know the most about pricing, hopefully a few other people will chime in too :)

hmm, i'd say maybe $10-15? the only thing holding them back from a higher price point imo is that they're a little messy - even for sketches, your lines are a little choppy, and your markings aren't always well-defined. not that that's a problem, but i've generally found that people are willing to pay more for art that's cleaner and feels more 'finished' - it's tough for sketches to command a higher price unless there's a particular flair to them/the artist is really talented at capturing personality and expression, and so on. just my 2c though!

Yeah I’d say $10-$15 is a good price for sketchy portraits, if you started doing full-body commissions with a large amount of apparel/details I would certainly charge more, but from what you have now I would not charge under $10 for even the most simple drawings.
Also even though your lines are a bit looser they are still pretty clean! I actually really like your line work!
