This boy was a ice cave explorer of the Southern Icefields, until his caving party was killed in an earthquake/cave in. A long while later he was put into custody for having mysterious unexplainable powers from that cave.

The coatl is hard of hearing, nearsighted and sickly due to a broken eggshell before hatching, but her magic takes care of most of the sicklyness.
Still, she tires easily during flight and so she has gear helping her out. As a practical minded trader and treasurer, it might be surprising that she's also a talented musician.

Mort isn't a traditional Nocturne, he actually looks quite different in my story and his appearance is noted in his bio. If you want to take a stab at that appearance, be my guest! But if you want to try and draw him as a normal Nocturn that is more than fine!
