Yes I did post this before in the flight rising discussions forums but i decided it would fit better here!
So I looking at other people’s fan dragons species, and inspiration struck! (hehe >:3) so here’s my dragon species! It’s based of off crocodiles, and from the lightning flight!
Half way through drawing this guy I realised most dragons have wings and I slapped some bad anatomy wings on that bad boy. I’ll (most likely) clean up this drawing later, and maybe draw some other poses if people like em!
(Funnily enough, it was thundering whilst I was drawing this, and still is as I write this down. I think lightning papa is proud of me :D)
Some facts about this species! vvv
• it’s skin and wings are very thick and leathery, and very hard to penetrate.
• it’s skin is so strong and thick as protection from lightning, as lightning is frequent for these guys!
•a bit bigger than bogsneak size
•4 toes on back feet, 5 toes on front feet
•has thumbs, gotta have them when your messing around with small pieces of machinery and wires!
•most lethal part of them is their tails, they can break bones with their special tail whip move
•50% of the time their flying 50% their not, and they don’t fly more than glide around
•they have wiry muscle, often seen jumping from place to place
•hardcore parkour!!!
•they have ears, just tiny ones, and can’t hear very well with them
•they have evolved to have small, not great hearing as to deal with all the loud crashing of thunder
•their large, thick and heavy wings can power them through storms and harsh winds, though they can also be a bit bothersome, often getting in the way
•and yes, they have an incredibly strong bite force, but don’t use it often, usually only to hastily cut things up with those sharp teeth or eat hard foods!
•they may or may not have the strongest bite force in sornieth, the arcanist is still testing that theory. Wish him luck.
Uuh and that’s all the facts I got for now! Please tell me what you think of these guys, I’d love to know!
