I know some people find them really cool, but no matter what I do, I just cannot like ridgebacks. Particularly the males. I have seen a few females I saw as nice but I have never been anything more that disappointed by male ridgebacks appearance.
Am I missing something? I stand firm in the belief that people on this site can make any appearance work, so time to bring those pretty ridgebacks out of hiding!

i actually have the opposite problem, where i find female ridgebacks difficult to like and i love the males. i think it's the devil-may-care grin oops. despite the fact that male ridges are one of my favorite dragons (second only to female WCs, and very closely followed by male coatls), i only own two at the moment due to a sudden and impulsive purge of my lair.

(captain) killian (jones). he's devilishly handsome. normally denim doesn't do much for me, especially as a prim, but i feel like the azure underbelly balances it out, and the eclectic genes actually look good on him i think. i wouldn't normally think to pair ripple and shimmer, but there you go. he's one of two current apparel projects so he's not as snazzy as he will eventually be.

niko is basically the dragon version of one of my OCs? he's difficult to explain, but i knew i wanted a ridgeback with a black/green color scheme and the jade circuit paired with the natural underbelly on black tiger just sang to me lol.
like i said, i don't have a lot of male ridges, but they're one of my favorite dragons? it took me a little while to appreciate them. i guess they just grew on me.
