I need to gush about accent artists...
I was going through my lair thinking about doing a cleanout, but the accents each wore and how much they added to the dragons who wore them in such a brilliant, unique way gave me pause. And I started thinking about how many artists' efforts went into the making of my lair. It is actually amazing. I just can't do a cleanout. Instead, I want to share a dragon from each artist with my sincerest thanks for doing such great work. Looong post ahead!
@Teal This Starfall accent has moved around quite a bit in my lair- it's gone to three? four? dragons before Mondrian here. It's just such a charming, versatile accent that I can't help but want to see it on every coatl boy in my lair.
@Promise When I hatched Avery here, I had no idea what I was going to do with him and his cute colors- and that's when I saw Runic Manafest being sold at some huge markup- but I knew I had to have it. It's absolutely perfect!
@Silviya A few of my dragons are wearing your beautiful accents, but Marin here is especially great. Thank you for making such wonderful art!
@buns For the longest time, Macke had no accent since I couldn't seem to finding anything suiting him. But then I really love teal came along, and now he is full of sass and attitude! It's fantastic! xD
@chei Do you even know how fast I looked to buy this accent when I saw it? I admit, I didn't even have a dragon for it at first, so that's why I went out and got Drouais for it. It's such a beautiful accent!
@Kowloon I've gushed about how your red roses accent was so so perfect for another one of my dragons, but here's Eugene, who was in accent limbo for a long while. Then I picked up pink lace bouquet and I don't think it's ever coming off. :D
@Seafoam I always think about how I want to dress Boldini here. Each time, I inevitably conclude: nothing, since I don't want to cover up this great accent! xD
@Verceri I know you're on hiatus from FR, and wish you the best in your endeavors. But I have to share Escobar, who looks absolutely regal in your golden peonies accent!
@njeekyo I remember I showed you a dream dragon wearing this skincent when you submitted it to the Trickmurk contest. Well, I finally did it! Not quite the same, but I am still overjoyed that this wonderful piece of art is on display in my lair. Thanks for having such a brilliant and unique palette and flair!
@Tettix Beaux's worn this accent for so long, I can't even remember what she looks like without it. Your artwork has become an inseparable part of one of my favorite and oldest dragons. :o
@Tarere Discovering your Mucha-inspired(?) work was a 100% YES YES YES MY MOJO moment. Luckily, I had a girl waiting for an accent and it suited her well- earning her name in the process! Thanks for making an accent that got me so excited to see it! :D
@creekdontrise I was rooting for you during the Gala, but being able to get this accent-modified version of your work was a happy moment nevertheless! Seurat had no accent for the longest time- nothing seemed to suit- but now she looks great. Kinda beachy, actually, but I imagine a cold chilly northern beach. Beautiful work!
@Maybels Listen, you, you need to know the levels of anticipation I experienced when waiting for this accent to come in. And then the further agony of waiting for Metzinger here to grow up to be able to wear it. It wasn't actually long but it felt like forever because this accent is actually perfect and it needed to be in my lair!
@Heathers I've had your gold ornamentals for the longest time but I want to show the more recent of your work I've acquired- it's so lovely and delicately detailed. I absolutely love it.
@EisenDragoon I'm a longtime admirer of your work and have a few other accents of yours waiting for the right dragon. Edgar here is simply not complete without your Code Relay!
@Cottontail Ok, I had another moment much like with Tarere's of MY BRAAAAAND when I saw this accent on the AH. I saw it. I loved it. I needed it. I clawed at the screen to get it. And then I realized I needed a dragon for it. So, I got Vincent! Thanks for making such fantastic work!
@Luunai Something about the subtle way Moonflowers works on Fragonard really appeals to me, and I haven't taken this accent off since he first put it on. I have multiple accents from you- I love your style and can instantly tell yours apart from the rest. :)
@Ammirati I loved the delicate detail and coloring of Sugar Scales, and I had it in my hoard for the longest time before I found a dragon worthy of it. Lancret has never been without this accent while in my lair!
@Kanamine Your clouds accents are fantastic, and this one with Lerel was one of my first "it's a perfect match!" moments. I love it. I love your work. A++!
@Voidtech Skeletons, how do they work!? I constantly come back to this dragon just to admire your accent and the truly amazing detail and care you put into those fine lines and delicate bones. Gosh, I could just gush forever about it but will summarize as: how do you do it? Your talent for detail is truly amazing.
@Maye I always admired your work, and the uniquely creative linearts you produce! Saying that, of course I show a dragon on which the dark details are somewhat lost, but...seriously, your art produces a kind of character flair that is so, so distinct and lovely. Yours is another style I can recognize immediately.
@Nyaore I am so grateful that you printed a copy of this wonderful accent for me. Balestra is firey with it! Thanks for the great work, you have really defined this dragon and made him special in my lair.
@frostkingdemetri Your accents are really something magical. I can't even see the phrase "touch of gold" without thinking of your work! That's how much of an impact you've made. Anyway, Largilliere here is another dragon that has never taken off your accent. I love it.

@doetails Your yummy-looking accents are A+ in my book! Antoine was never meant to be food, and yet, here she is, and will likely never take off that accent. It's become a part of her. Mmmmm...frosting...
@Lolitag This was the first accent I ever bought. And it was a long while after I got this accent that I truly got "into" accents. This one has been worn by a few other dragons, who are no longer in my lair...but now XiaGui wears it proudly. What beautiful work.
@Osiem Of course I have to have something from you! Your skins and accents are brilliant, and quite unique. This is one of those accents that always has to stick around somehow in my lair, even if it's not on this particular dragon- it moves but is never gone. It's too gorgeous to not show!
@demonpunk I don't consider Courbet to be complete without this accent anymore. Another one of those perfect matches that I can't even remember a time before. Thanks for the beautiful work! :D
@Sketchii Gorgeous accent. Lovely clean lines. I moved this accent around a lot, since it seemed like it worked so so well on many of my girls! Eventually I settled on Ferretti and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for making such a great accent!

@Jesse4 Another perfect match in perfectville. Leonora wasn't originally mine- she belonged to my friend Deebs- but when he sent her over for temporary holding and I put this accent on her, he said to just keep her, it was too wonderful. I actually just gave him the accent at that point but she eventually came back to me. I love your glasswings accents and gorgeous work!

@Sableye I saw, I bought, I realized I had no dragon, I bought a dragon. 10/10 would do again. The design of this accent and the lovely shiny coloring are just gorgeous and I needed it immediately.
@BritishSarcasm When I hatched Bluemner, I was on the fence about his colors. Then your accent came to the rescue and BAM, perfect match, forever dragon. I can't even imagine him without it anymore. I have more of your accents and they are all great! :D
@hakuryu I love love love the delicate lines and fine detail this accent gives to the dragon. I haven't even named this guy yet but he's never taking off this accent. NEVER.

@Plume Gondi is one of the older dragons in my lair, and for the longest time had no accent. Then Flowerboy came along and ooh! It's the greatest, he is now a fabulous hippie. Thanks for the wonderful character-defining work! xD
