Dragon Share

In the few hours before dawn, these dragons rise. They gather on cliffs and hillsides, rooftops and towers. Together, they sing the sun into the sky. These are the Dawn Chorus.

The Dawn Chorus are nearly always referred to in the plural, for they are never without another's company. There are at least two dragons in a Chorus. In clans that have only a single Dawn Chorus member, that dragon forms a close bond with a few of their clanmates, teaching them to sing.

In ancient times it was believed that the Dawn Chorus actually guided the movement of the sun. Now their role is mostly ceremonial. Even so, bad luck and foul weather always seems to occur on days in which the sun is not greeted.

Gene Requirements: Piebald primary, paint secondary, smoke tertiary

Color Requirements: A yellow-range primary and secondary with a pink-range tertiary.
Primary: Yellow to Canteloupe, excluding Metals and Sunshine
Secondary: Honey to Canteloupe
Tertiary: Coral to Pearl
Note: Piebald Honey, Lemon, Metals, and Sunshine all have brownish patches, which is why they are not acceptable as primaries. Even as secondaries they can leave dull blotches on some species, which should be avoided.

I'll start things off by introducing my starting pair, Hibiscus and Daylily. It's the most I've ever spent on a pair, but so worth it! They'll be ready to breed in 6 days (the 24th, if my math is right).
