Dragon Share

Bought this lovely sibling set last night, and the lore their mother and grandfather have is perfect for a name theme, but I'm definitely changing their given names. They should start with letter P. She was the one I fell in love with, and purchased her brothers because I've been wanting an interesting sibling set that spoke to me lore-wise. But I bought her with a specific thought before reading the lore and now don't know. "AnnaBelle" was the original thought. It has special meaning to me though I know its not a great FR name. Now maybe... Piper? Precious? Something that sounds prettty between Prosper and Percy or Priano? [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=28570034] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/285701/28570034_350.png[/img] [/url] I am thinking Priano just because it's pretty or Percy as a shortened version of either Perseverance or Perceive. Perseverance is again in honor of Grandpa and a nod his mother's lightning heritage while Perceive is more of a nod to his water heritage. But I'm not sure. Aww! I'm so glad you like Conquest's lore and I'm flattered to know that you'd be interested in participating in his homage to his siblings, though there are a few options in mind if you would like to get around this. Since the dragons you purchased are Conquest's grandchildren, they may not understand their family's lore as well as Conquest's daughter (their mother). Similarly, if they do know about the lore, they could decide that it's not important enough for them to keep P names. Conquest's old name was Pestilence, so he understands what a new name can mean to a dragon. Therefore, he wouldn't argue if someone in his family chose to change their name.

I absolutely love the name Prospect - it makes him sound like he's ready for an adventure! I really like all the other names you listed, though the choice is ultimately up to you. With this said, I could absolutely see the second dragon renaming herself to AnnaBelle, either in an attempt to distinguish herself from her family's namesake or perhaps she never felt a connection with her birth name. I could even see her arguing something like, "Grandfather changed his name when he left home, so why can't I?"

Please do keep me informed with their names and lore! I would absolutely love to see what happens with Conquest and Malari's grandbabies! Thank you!

That's a great point about the children not understanding their history, especially since they've wound up in a Plague clan, but the challenge is fun. Admittedly frustrating for having nothing I like for the girl and too many options for the last boy, but still interesting. I'm going to assume, if I may, at least some relationship with the grandparents and a strong enough one with the parents to at least honor the name scheme.

Having silent p possibilities does open it up! I thought that might be too broad, but I can look again with that freedom in mind.

Prospect, Pilot, Perchance, Pace, Path are all things I also like, but again not for the girl. There are lots of great possibilities. It's just a matter of getting the right fit.

I do not mind the assumed relationship at all! It actually makes me smile that you've taken notice of the namesake! However, please know that you don't have to adhere to Conquest's lore if it prevents you from naming your dragons what you would like. I'd actually feel a little guilty if you ended up being restricted by their grandfather's choice. After all, I'm sure there's a plethora of reasons why they wouldn't have P names!
