Remain calm, do not panic, everything will be fine ;) And I'm subscribed so you don't have to worry about pinging me.[/b] [/center] ------------------------------------------- [i]As you leisurely stroll through a field to get to the marketplace, you see two dragons along the path; an enormous fiery Bogsneak snoozes on a sun-warmed rock, while a pastel Coatl chases butterflies and picks flowers. You don't think anything of it until you are about to walk by and the Bogsneak opens his eyes. Grinning wickedly at you, he sits up and calls out, "Where d'you think [b]you're[/b] goin', stupid?"[/i] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=37300787] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/373008/37300787_350.png[/img] [/url] [i]Shocked at the bold rudeness of this stranger, you can't think of anything to say in response to that. He certainly looks like an unpleasant fellow, but luckily you are spared from answering as the Coatl bounds forward, a butterfly held gently between her teeth[/i] [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=37140012] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/371401/37140012_350.png[/img] [/url] [i]"Oh, don't mind Hellbender here, he's just cranky because his Captain named him after a salamander," she chirps brightly, letting the unharmed butterfly flitter away as she opens her mouth, "sorry he's such a jerk. I'm Cupcake, by the way." You can tell that she is as sweet as Hellbender is sour, and you smile at her. Hellbender rolls his eyes and groans, "Stop tryin' to make friends with everyone here, Cupcake. Get moving, stupid." he addresses you again. "Sorry, Hell, that's just my nature, just like it's in your to be such a grump" the colorful girl continues to smile, obviously used to her companion's behavior, "you seem like a swell dragon, don't let him ruin this nice day for you! Have fun at the market!" She darts off in pursuit of another butterfly as Hellbender shakes his head and lays his head back down on the rock.[/i] ---------------------------------------------- There's a lot of dragons complimenting other dragons, but I've never seen a dragon be mean yet. Hellbender aims to change that, and will have something mean to say to any dragon posted here. Meanwhile, Cupcake will soften the blow by giving your dragon a nice comment. I'm mostly doing this because I want to develop these two dragons for their lore, but I don't really have any inspiration yet; all I know is that I want him to be a jerk, and her to be a sweetheart. This is meant to be an exercise in character development and dialogue, so don't take anything Hellbender says to heart! ----------------- [b]Things you might be wondering / a few helpful notes[/b] - I’ve got a busy schedule and sometimes no computer access for lengthy periods of time. Don’t worry if you don’t get a response for a while, I will be back at some point and will do what I can for as many as I can with the time available to me - This can and should be an exercise in creativity for you as much as me! If you are inspired to come up with info or characteristics about your dragon, by all means put them in - You can post as many dragons as you like, HOWEVER: If you are not planning to write anything about said dragons or have them be together for any reason (friends/family/mates) PLEASE post them individually because it makes it easier for me to keep track of what I’m doing. But you CAN post a few dragons together at a time if you’ve got some sort of tidbit in there as to what connects them - You DO NOT have to RP with your dragon if you do not want to! If you just want to post a dragon and see what Hell thinks, that is okay! There is no pressure to force creativity if you aren’t feeling it, nor do you have to write anything extensive if you DO decide to come up with something for your dragon to say or do; anything from nothing to a novel is fine - I will always check a dragons' bio page to see if there's any tidbits there I might take ideas from, but in keeping with 'realism' I won't have Hell comment on anything that he wouldn't explicitly know. So if your dragon has something strange/special/different about it that isn't based on its site appearance that you want Hell to comment on, you will have to give them some sort of dialogue where they tell Hell about said thing (or at least mention the trait specifically in your post and I'll just pretend that it came up in some sort of off-screen conversation) - If your dragon decides to come back with a retort, you can certainly write one, but I may not always respond to follow-ups; RPing is actually pretty hard for me, and this is a fairly time-consuming activity as is; sometimes I just might not have anything creative for Hell and Cups to say. I will certainly TRY to RP a little bit if your dragon wants to talk to Hell some more, but be aware that there might not be much :\ - Yes, you can absolutely use this stuff on your dragon’s page - Fanart is welcomed and appreciated! Not gonna lie, I’ve become rather proud of Hellbender, so I am always looking for more art because it really adds to my inspiration for him. Hellbender scoffs as he looks over the pink Coatl.

"Nice flower, sissy. Y'know what the best part about the word "cupid" is? Rhymes with "stupid". Like you."

Cupcake immediately runs up to the Coatl and gives him a squeeze, petting his soft feathers.

"I love how silky your feathers are, and I happen to LOVE your flowers! They're perfect! Here, have another one!" She offers a daffodil to Virtue and strokes his wing again as she smiles.

Hellbender gives a hiss at seeing the snake curling around the Ridgeback's tail, intending it to be a mockery. Laughing harshly, he says, "If you weren't wearing that blindfold, maybe you wouldn't get hurt in battle all the time, and then you wouldn't need to wrap up in those lame bandages."

Cupcake, meanwhile, hesitantly approaches and puts her hand out for the snake to flick its tongue over. She speaks softly, not wanting to startle the newcomer if they cannot see her approach, "You must be very brave to go into battle without being able to see your opponents. I wish I could be as confident as you are."

Hellbender laughs at seeing the tiny Fae squaring up. "You're right, I admit it, you can't possibly be stupid. After all, they don't make stupid small enough to fit dragons your size!"

Cupcake offers a flower to Red saying, "I admire your boldness, good sir. I'm glad someone around isn't willing to take Hell's insults lying down!"
