I saw one of these threads a while back and really loved the idea of it. I've since lost it to the annals of Flight Rising time, but I remember it hadn't been posted in for multiple months at least. Because of this, I thought it better to just try reviving it here.
The idea of the game is very simple! Go to the lair of the person above you, and pick out your favorite dragons from each of the breeds in Flight Rising. Tell the person why you like the dragon you picked in as many, or as little, words as you would like! If the person does not have one of the breeds, just write N/A by it's name. Feel free to leave notes stating which dragons/pages people can/should ignore if you have anything you don't want them to consider when making their choices! The person that posts after you will go into your lair and do the same!
If you claim a user, please update your claim within the next hour (60 minutes). If you do not, your claim is void and the next user to join the thread can claim the prior lair in your stead!
Since there's no one above me, I'll just pick from myself.
-Bogsneak- I can't really explain it. She's just one of those dragons I have a deep, profound love for.
-Coatl- This was the dragon that curbed my fierce hatred of platinum. While it's still not my favorite color available, I have a much deeper appreciation for it after receiving Moonrise.
-Fae- My random progen. While he may not stay a Fae for long, I have a deep love for him as one of my starter dragons.
-Guardian- My precious fire baby. I saved her from an exalt block thinking I would rehome her elsewhere to give her a second chance, but she ended up sticking around.
-Imperial- Russ is a Flight Rising representation of my grandfather. He's probably my favorite dragon in my entire lair for this very reason.
-Mirror- The mirror that changed my opinion on mirrors. I still don't have many in my lair, but when I saved Crystal from an exalt block I couldn't make her leave.
-Nocturne- Selerynia was hideous to say the least when I first hatched her. I risked a scatterscroll and have never regretted it.
-Pearlcatcher- Rayne was one of the first dragons I hatched when I joined Flight Rising way back when. She's somehow made it through the millions of lair purges I've conducted and become a permanent fixture in my lair.
-Ridgeback- The first dragon I ever put any serious effort into creating lore for. She's not the most exciting to look at, but she stands to remind me that I can create backstories for my dragons if I get off my butt and try.
-Skydancer- Xia is based on an OC of mine. She was a tedious project, but now that's she's done I love her to bits.
-Snapper-
N/A
-Spiral- Levi was the first spiral I ever bought. At one point, he fell victim to a lair purge, but he managed to wiggle back into my lair several months down the line and hasn't left since!
-Tundra- My only Tundra. I got a wind egg from the coliseum not long ago and decided to hatch it on my birthday. I made a promise to myself that if it was anything but a Tundra, I would breed change it to either a snapper or a spiral. If it was a Tundra, I would keep it that way since I had been looking to get one. She hatched as a Tundra, of course, and I'm excited to start geneing her.
-Wildclaw- One of the most recent additions to my lair. I got her by fluke from a swap thread and fell in love right away. Once I discovered she shares a birthday with my mother, I couldn't let her go.
To the person that posts next! All of the dragons without a familiar are temporary residents in my lair. Please ignore them in your perusing. Esther is the last official dragon of my lair.
Here is a template to make posting a bit easier for you guys.
