Both Tulikaarme and Metalgreymon came to my clan as mercenaries to hunt in the highest coliseum venues where, until then, my clan wasnt able to reach. As the time went by, they decided to train other dragons to take on the lower venues, train fodder and have a mercenary team ready for profiting during battles

The word "Mercenary" in my clan is forbidden, yet sometimes [i]we may[/i] offer a claw or two in exchange of goods or services. After all, the Guardian's faction is known for mindlessly obeying every order given to them, making them merciless in combat, dutiful in business, and unbeatable in loyalty. However, we "sell" our fighters just as protection to clients and allies, because our philosophies forbids us of doing harm to a living being.
Alshafaq comes in handy for the more subtle stuff, like "borrowing" objects, spying people, tracing movements and other practical intelligence activities that sell very high as information to prepare other movements. He's been sent to spy Shade cults and dangerous dragon/beastclan factions.

Alam in the other side is of the ones who like the more Stabby-stab kind of stuff. His natural energy goes into bursts of violence and a berserker-like battle style in combat. He really enjoys fighting mindlessly with no worries but completing his mission, thus he's one of the first ones to offer his claw to clients when the business is about all out battles.

On a more lighter tone, Desert: he's not part of my clan, but he's a mercenary that works in the surroundings as part some allied Serthis mercenaries to obtain and commerce some products that normally the Beastclans can't get from the dragon's markets. He's also a warrior an will fight if nicely asked and well paid for, but he's not someone to break his own code of honor. He may be bold and merciless in battle and always fulfill its contracts, against all the pearlcatcher stereotypes, yet being a PC he knows how to do business stuff well enough to never have to surrender his loyalties nor honor, something he's really proud about.
