Why are Your Permababies Babies? | Dragon Share

I've been restless this week and have been trying my various creative outlets to settle. The one I'm trying to focus on the most, at least for FR, is writing out my dragons' lore, starting with my permababy hoard. This has added a question I should've been asking from the start- why are my guys not growing into adults? While I haven't been able to add anything to bios yet, I have explanations for a few of them: Hei's gembond, Imogen was involved in a lab accident, Bogle, Kuronome, and Aine aren't actually dragons but a goblin ~~(bogle)~~, tree spirit, and a fairy respectively, and Abyss was purposely kept small because tiny evil is easier to cope with than giant evil. For everyone else, it's left me stumped and it has me wondering how you guys explain your permababies' lack of growth. Care to share?

Sunny is a permababy because she's a fandragon of a character who's an infant/young toddler. She's also just cuter as a hatchling.

Penumbra hasn't become a permababy yet (still saving up ;-;), but his lore is that he was the spirit of a hatchling who was abandoned and died eons ago.

Boyd is probably going to be a permababy someday, because he has such cool Goat eyes I want to show off! Lore-wise, I feel like it's that he was cursed to be a hatchling forever.

And maybe now that the egg has hatched, she will grow very slowly, hence permababy :D

Raiden was caught snooping around The Observatory and was sent flying with a blast of arcane magic, which thus left him as a hatchling.

Lonan died as a hatchling, but his body has been possessed and is being used as a vessel for some dark entity (The Shade)

He seems sort of child like to me in the movie but still has that commanding age. It also goes into his appearance of looking cute. Tau is a Fanderg from the amovie Tau who is a AI. He seems sort of child like to me in the movie but still has that commanding age. It also goes into his appearance of looking cute.

Noxtion is one of the three residing “Aliens” in the clan and was found one day just hatched abandoned. The other two aliens (Shadow and Venom) adopteded him and raise him. Plus he looks a lot cuter and it’s funny watching him mess with the clan to make them laugh as a baby then as an adult (That’s Anon’s And Ara’s job)
