Not recent, but Haze was a seemingly ugly and cheap unnamed gen1 I found when looking for a nice 4/20 hatch. Something about her drew me to her and I tried some genes and found out that Hunter/Grey/Buttercup all have the same accent colour with the genes Skink/Toxin/Ghost, which was also the same colour as her eyes, so she ended up being a beautiful matching gen1 with a funny hatch date and went from being this:

Almost all of my g1s are from the AH (I have horrible luck with eggs and don't often find what i'm looking for in auctions and such) so while they're hard to come by, i've found some real beauties from the AH for cheap! (I collect mostly dark blue G1s, so i'm very picky with my dragons!)
