wow what a dragon!
I say that the gold gives it an all around pleasant warmth and doesn't overtake the lovely bits of apparel but adds to the outfit.... whereas the silver might match technically better but to me it almost gets lost within the other pieces.

gold looks nice on the purple, gold and galaxy stuff always looks great. But if you do go with silver it'll still look ok because it matches

Silver, even though I love gold a lot and it looks really good with the purple- it just pops out too much in contrast to the silks :o

I vote gold! I was originally going to vote silver just due to the fact that I have a very similar dream dragon that looks far better in the silver apparel, but on this dragon I think the gold seraph stuff just gives him a nice warm accent color to go with his more purple-y color scheme.
