Hey, so I'm sick and stuck in bed with the flu and it sucks. Please cheer me up by showing me your most beloved dragons? The ones that might not have great colours, or maybe they're a breed you don't usually like or they don't fit your lair theme, but you just have too much affection for them to ever sell or exalt.
Here's mine - Smallmountain. He's one of the first dragons I ever bought when I joined up, and I did so purely because I liked his name. His colours are so... they're not even interestingly bad, there's just no gene combo I can find that particularly makes the pop, and the dull charcoal tert doesn't help. He just looks like a dragon you'd scroll past on the auction house, unless you were buying fodder... but I love him. I don't even want to scatter him, because I don't want to change him from who he is.

I didn't really like Pale's colour/gene combo when I bought him (which was for a breeding project) but he quickly grew on me. He sits proudly in the first page of my lair, together with the other dragons I bought when I just started playing FR :)

My first bought dragon. Without the scarf, I don't think anyone would've loved him. I probs would'nt have kept him if I had'nt gotten a Green aviator scarf and decided to put it on the boy that I found on Wind's ah that I found appealing.

Smoke usually looks bad. And who on earth combines reddish/orangeish colors with [i]mint[/i]? But I really like the way he looks in a way, even without the apparel. I have had a lot of different perma's in my time on FR but not many of them stayed. Dove being sold or exalted won't even be considered.
Also I discovered just a couple of hours ago that he is the only dragon with this color combo, there's not even an exalted dragon on site with the colors he has. That makes him unique and adds to his coolness. c:
