Dragon Share

Before I get into this, I am posting this on behalf of my friend, as they are inexperienced with this sort of thing. Also, if this gets enough interest to warrant an auction, I will need someone to help set it up for my friend, as that is something else I am inexperienced with. Also, I am unaware of where to find the GenOne Hoarders pinglists, so if someone could ping them, that would be appreciated. @HenryJekyll That little one has some good colors, so I know there would definitely be people interested in him. Just from crusing around the forum a bit, I've seen them priced for anywhere from 100kt (100g) to maybe 300kt (300g). I think you could ask for a slightly higher price for him just because of his colors, but that's my unprofessional opinion. If you find enough people who like him for his colors, then I think it's safe to say you could go for the higher price. It also might help to ask some others who are better at pricing dragons. I like him, if that helps. I like blacks and whites, and this guy's got some good potential. Thank you for the response and range, and that scry is really quite nice! I don't get to see Contour all that much and I think he sports it pretty well.

My major thing with him is how well his tert goes not only with his Primary and Secondary (in my eyes), as well as his eyes, which I know can be the death of the price on other GenOnes. I thought with him being a one-off XXY Obsidian dragon that it would help his price some too, but again, I rarely handle such things as this.

I do hope to get a more professional opinion from someone who has dealt with GenOnes like him before. I so rarely deal with anything like this that I have no idea where to even begin with pricing him. The closest I've come to anything like this was a White/Antique/Sunset Noc I had a couple years ago that sold for ~700g (eyes clashed pretty badly with colors).

Alright, thank you! Due to my own inexperience I didn't want my friend to low-ball him severely, which is partially why I set up this thread. I had my own ideas, but they were way far off from these estimates solely because of what I've seen before. Could've sworn dragons like him went for more. The more you know I guess.

I know that feeling. It's not nearly as strong as it is with Gaolers for me (help I'm drowning in fluff), but I'm really liking Banescales.

@HenryJekyll 300g is hecka lowball, any comparables on the AH are no cheaper than 1kg, and they aren't shiny new breeds. Really? I was under the impression here that unless a dragon actually was an XXY Obsidian they don’t hold as much value. Obviously they’d be less, as a non-XXY Obsidian should be, but I wasn’t expecting it to be 300g/kt value.

Thank you for pointing out similar dragons do go for more. I haven’t had a massive amount of time to look into similar dragons since I posted this thread. Your scry is lovely by the way. I didn’t think to try Skeletal.
