A Banescale Delight
As Banescales arose from the Blacksand Annex, the plethoras of them hatched from eggs and came back from the loss fight from the Gaolers. The smell of smoldering ash blew upon them, blocking nostrils of all near. The thought of the sickly smell of burnt items flew into peoples minds, some true.. while others won’t.
Once settled, new dragons started popping up. The once disgusted smell of some were gone. Sweet scents filled the area, blessing your nose with delight. The smell continued to grow, bringing all lair owners a longing to get one. Some made into hybrids, bred throughout for their delicious scent.
And now, here we are.
Basic Rules
- all banscales must match their respective element. for example, if it is a lavender scent, the eyes must be shadow. Chocolate scent earth, and so on. If an inbetween color, do what works best ( etc if pistachio color, ice or nature is allowed )
- they all must be XYY OR XXY. Primary MUST be white, cream, or antique. For tert must be the same as secondary, but allowed to be white as well.
- Primary must be BASIC. secondary must be arrow. Tert must be Wraith. Obviously should be a Banescale, will revise as needed.

Floral scented Banescales smell like.. well.. flowers. Flowers from across Sornieth each have their own unique scent, along with the breath of the Banescales. The strong aroma will easily fill any smelly lair. Coming from the outskirts of the Light Domain and the Everbloom Garden, these candles can wander to help out with some fresh smelling dens.

White Basic - Lavender Arrow - Lavender Wraith - Shadow Rare the most common of the species, lavender scented Banescales. “ Lavender is the name given to several species of herbaceous, perennial shrubs in the genus Lavandula which are grown as ornamental plants or for essential oil. Lavender plants are small, branching and spreading shrubs with grey-green leaves and long flowering shoots. “ ~ Must be any flower or something related to flowers (lavender, rosemary, etc) |

Usually found in the Viridian Labyrinth, they usually stay in the everbloom gardens, but can and may wander out to other reaches of the Labyrinth or even to other clans and places. These smell like pine and wood, what you would usually smell while walking through a pine forest.

White Basic - Forest Arrow - Forest Wraith - Light common The original forestry candle. Smells like a forest, although hybrids and descendants have similar smell that focus on one specific scent. “ The air in the forest smells good. It may smell like damp moss, rain, wet tree trunks, flowers, and needle-covered path. It may smell like a tree stump that is already creating new life, or even snow, frost, and softwood. “ ~ Must be in the greens or dark brown range. Exceptions may be made upon asking. |

Sweet - scented Banescales smell like a nice bakery on a Saturday morning. Although smells may very, the sweetness of these Banescales will fill them with delight. When lit, your lair will be overpowered within the delicious scent of baking pastries.

White Basic ~ Cream Arrow ~ Cream Wraith ~ Light Innocent Can be very self centered, but can be sweet in the inside once well known. “Bakery air immediately fills you up with the sickly sweet smell of cooking cupcakes, crisping croissants, and the distinct aroma of globby breakfast paste turning into a delicious tray of hot oatmeal cookies.” |
Spiced Scents
Spiced Scented Banescales are scattered across clans, especially those that have a fine cooking skill. They smell like spices, some stronger than others. The aroma may give off a festive mood, and may also peak your appetite. Most of these dragons are prideful and self-entitled due to the regal scents.

White Basic - Cinnamon Arrow - Cinnamon Wraith - Fire rare. ~ A warm-scented specimen, smells may vary, though often giving a warm, fuzzy feeling from the scent. “ Autumn Spice. Autumn sparks the beginning of the holiday glow with a warm blend of cinnamon, allspice, and clove, simmered in sweet, buttery vanilla...” ~ Brown range OR specific spice names (Ex: Saffron). Exceptions may be made upon approval. |
