It's Light Flight Discord Mass Hatch Round Two, y'all
let's hatch some egg

We limped through it in September; now it's time to do it slightly more seriously! Welcome to the Light Flight Discord (aka LFD) Night of the Nocturne Mass Hatch! I'll be solely at the helm of this one (wish me luck,,,) so feel free to herd any questions and concerns towards me.

As this hatch is both to send NotN off with a hurrah and also hatch eggs because that's what we do in LFD, the hatch will take place throughout the day on Saturday, January 4, as LFD members are from around the world and we don't want to force anyone to get/stay up if they don't want to.

Some quick things:

For the LFD members: thank you for deciding to join our crazy idea!

Please reserve a post in this thread before Saturday for you to show off your hatch in! This is also so we can get a list of how many people took part this time around.
If you want to "pledge" some number of eggs to hatch, feel free! Otherwise, you can just hatch however many eggs you want.
Feel free to scry your dragon as much as you'd like!

For the audience: thank you for your interest in this event!

If you're interested in any of the dragons hatched in this thread, please hold off until Sunday to contact that user specifically. We'd like for this thread to simply be excitement over the hatchlings from a communal mass hatch; if you are interested in a little babbu, please make sure that you're contacting the right person.

So uh... why?
Great question! Because it would be fun! Because we love hatching eggs! Because it would be exciting if we all hatched together for little to no reason! So basically, little to no reason other than our own happiness and joy. And, possibly, yours as well!

How many people will be hatching here?
Currently we have 18 people signed up! This number will be kept up in as close to real-time as possible.

Do you have a pinglist?
Yep! Just @ me to be added to it. I'll be pinging throughout Saturday so that you can catch up with whatever was hatched.
