I just got this girl and I thought her colors matched a myosotis fox, so I came up with lore based around that.

She was found as a hatchling in Blooming Grove with the fox taking care of her. When she was brought t the clan she refused to spend time with the dragons instead of her fox mom. She got over this once she got older but sh still oves the fox very much.

I have several dragons with stories in progress that involve their familiars, but none of them are completed yet. But I can offer Lobsneaks here, who has a bit of lore involving his frog friend.
I have this fella, he was found around he forest being taken care by a raptorik, who took care of him since hatch and because of this his speech development suffered, so he comunicates via varying sounds that don't resemble either draconian or raptorik

Leona was raised by a Chimera, who found her when she was dropped off in the desert. The two travelled around for years and the Chimera was eventually dubbed 'Pebble' by Leona. After many years of wandering Pebble was getting old so the two decided to settle down in my clan!
Aside from her, I haven't really incorporated any familiars into my lore, but I do think it'd be a fun idea to so :D

Rion's little hummingbird familiar has been a constant companion on his travels for a long time. When not fluttering around, the lil' bird likes to stay in one of Rion's pockets.
Fun fact: Rion is actually based on an OC of mine. A traveling storyteller whose companion is a tiny (palm-sized) dragon with wings like that of a hummingbird's.

Nerissa's black unicorn is her guide in unfamiliar places (she's practically blind) and was the one to guide her back home after a strange incident in her youth. Again, more details of that in her bio.

Kalma got her name after Finnish mythology, basically a goddess of death and decay, who was said to have a hound-like companion, Surma, by her side. Hence the familiar.
