My lair is a constant WIP. I have so much unfinished lore, it's ridiculous. The ideas are all in my head, I just don't have time between school and work to finish them. And I keep finding new projects!
I posted this summary in another thread describing my clan:
My clan was founded by dragons looking to escape from a busier life around the Behemoth and the center of Nature Flight's administration and institutions. They found a place they thought was nice in the deep forest of the Viridian Labyrinth close to the border with Dragonhome and called it Bronze Willow, and eventually the clan grew as more dragons settled there. Most born there don't stay, but many who visit tend to settle down or return later. All are welcome, whether they want to just stay the night, or for the rest of their lives.
Everyone takes part in necessary clan activities, and being in the middle of the forest, it is easy for everyone to gather their own food and most basic building materials
At the very beginning of my lore, it's basically a small town of artisans, and some with other random professions, in need of better administration and regular trade with other towns. That is, until my clan leader comes in, fixes things, and brings in a healer, some security, and other needed positions they hadn't had before.
Leadership is generally handed down from father to son, but Relius comes in from elsewhere, falls in love with the town leader Ervor, and he basically lets her run everything. She is much better suited for it and enjoys being a leader, whereas Ervor would rather deal with interpersonal issues and social things and raise their many hatchlings. He also has a propensity for finding lost eggs, which is how I tend to work G1s into my lore.
Most of my dragons come to my clan from elsewhere and their paths for one reason or another bring them to Bronze Willow. Not all of my permas are permanent residents of the town, and not all residents of the town are represented by a dragon in my lair. At least not yet.
I tend to like either very Nature-y dragons, or dark/evil/scary dragons. I feel like my lair is a bit all over the place in that regard, but I try to keep things organized in tabs according to whether they are lore dragons, or serve some other purpose.
Here are some of the dragons I am proud of!
These are my two clan leaders. He has a bio, one of my first completed so I like to think my writing has gotten better, and she has a beginning of one. I just love her, she is one of my favorites.
And this is one of their more recent hatchlings, I love multigaze dragons! She is by far one of my prettiest!
I have a weakness for lineage projects and subspecies with good lore!
These guys are some of my most recent level 25s or warriors in training! Links to their lineage projects or subspecies pages are in their bios.
Narryd is a member of three different lineages.
Bryrdym is a Necromancer.
And Zyrsa is a Gladeling. She and her mate are going to become my Kelp Beds Pair.
This guy will be leveled up next, he has a bio, and I created his subspecies. It hasn't gotten much traction, but I enjoy the lore behind it, so that's fine with me.
I also have a weakness for Ancient Breeds. All of mine are G1, they are a lot, so here's a link to my
Ancient's Tab.
And I have a weakness for nice G1s. That's one of my newest things.
I read some of your lore, and I like it!
For me, I feel that when I start becoming bored with what I am trying to plan, sometimes adding some new characters (buying some new dragons or finding a new subspecies to get involved in) can help to spice things up.
I also like playing with the new outfits in the dressing room and finding dragons in my lair who make then look good. Changing outfits always helps with dragons I've become disenchanted with as well! (Pippin up there was so bad before that Fiendflesh set was released!) If you're thinking about redoing outfits, I always have
this guide open in another tab to look through, it's helped me a lot!

Why is it so easy to grow fond of some pixels? :D
I have this problem too. I often find that putting dragons in s separate tab and seeing if I miss them helps me decide who I can let go of. But I have so many dragons who will never be sold or exalted. I just can't! And I love breeding my dragons, so my lair will forever be filled almost to capacity.
