Recently i looked at one of my favorite dragons, Delphi's, scry without apparel and....

Grays/purples and bright greens are colors i didn't would look good together but they Work with noxtide oh wow

Maize doesn't really work with the secondary and tertiary, and neither do most genes, but he looks good with a basic primary for some reason. Like my girl above, I wouldn't buy a dragon like this now a days, but back before the color wheel expansion he was nice.

Stained definitely counts, sometimes its the only tert that works and isn't basic
Moriko does look really nice as a bane, especially with his accent and wraith! Spruce poison has those brown accents that match his wings well
Smirch does look good on Chrys, i really like how it goes over his eyes and makes it look like the purple of them is part of it

Speckle and peregrine are really underrated in my opinion and they look nice on her, certainly a slightly-spooky storyteller!
I wasn't here before the color expansion so i can't tell what would and wouldn't be good then, but I do like how his primary is basic and doesn't look too busy with gembond

i tend to excel at this kinda thing. i mean, how else would i have gotten so many cheap primals than by snagging the ones their owners thought ugly and re-geneing them?

and, of course, both scry into the softest lightning primals you've ever seen, but would never have forseen. it's just... the sheer luck, not only that they exist but that i found them both. and neither broke the bank!
