Maybe bar instead of clown, or daub instead of eye spots, maybe even both. I feel like it would get the stone feel to him a bit more.

@FishyWishyz i was considering that but stone daub and bar are super dark,, and i've already picked up the stone/stone/buttercup bog,

@Avier Ooh, Clown is nice! This is the scry I whipped up for myself; maybe Clouded on the wings would work for you too? I based it on those projecting oblong bits he's got on his lower right segment. @Astariall ooh!! i do like those,, i picked eye spots originally bc the waystone doesn’t have a ton of texture but i’m really liking hex,, thank you for the suggestion!!
