hi so um... my friend just nested 2 of my dragons for me and [img]https://imgur.com/LxRdmwv.png[/img] i didnt think this was possible?? i thought you could only get 5 eggs from breeding two different breeds? i've seen this with 2 banescales before but i dug a little bit and figured out one of the banescales had been breed changed so i thought maybe it was a glitch due to that but... neither of mine have been breed changed so? am i just being stupid? edit: the answer is yes. i was just being stupid. ancients can lay 5 eggs since they can't be cross-bred. i understand now. tried deleting this and can't and now its up and the embarrassment won't end.

...yeah, i'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen?? you totally have to keep that fifth glitch baby now tho

It’s an ancient dragon thing. Since they can only breed with the same species as themselves, they can have 5 egg nests

@MUNA ancients break this rule because gaolers can only breed with other gaolers, and banescales with other banescales. What you're talking about only applies to modern breeds. hope this helped.

Ancients can have nest of 1-5, as they cannot breed with anything outside of their species.

The 5 nest rule is for modern breeds, if you breed two different species, you can have up to 5 eggs as a bonus for taking the chance on what different species the babies will be.

Hm maybe its only allowed for ancients since they can't breed outside of their own breed?
