Happy Pride Month! Last year, I attempted to do a pride month event within my clan. Each day, I was supposed to post a dragon that was part of the LGBTQ+ community and explain their identity and story. It was an attempt to show my solidarity and give some love to those who need it. However, I failed, mostly due to my lack of focus. However, this year I have more focus, more time, and more understanding, so a second attempt is being made. For every day during the month of June, I will post a dragon in the LGBTQ+ community, explain their identity, what it means to them, what it means in their story, and how they discovered it if at all possible. Feel free to share your own LGBTQ+ dragons as well, I'd love to see all their lovely faces! It is officially Pride Month, hopefully everyone is having a good day so far. I thought I would start out my pride month posts with arguably my most important LGBTQ+ dragon in relation to my own identity. Amerion is agender and pansexual, and uses any pronouns, which is pretty similar to my own identity (agender/bisexual). They were hatched on a special lore date for my clan and quickly became a way for me to explore expressing my own identity. For me, they are a representation of how I see my gender--or rather lack of--and are incredibly important to my heart. Let’s talk about them some more. [center]As I stated before, Amerion is agender, which essentially means they do not feel connected to any sort of gender, binary or not. Gender simply does not exist for them. However, like me, they don’t particularly care about pronouns, masc, fem, or neither. Pronouns aren’t important to them, so they use any of them, whatever people feel like, they are comfortable with them all. For them, they have more important things to worry about than gender--aka they want to Steal things and find neat rocks with their wife--so they simply dress how is comfortable for them and that's that. In regards to how others view their gender, they really are much of the same. They view Amerion as themselves first, use whatever pronoun slips easiest from their tongue and never lock them into gendered expression in their mind. Amerion has never felt stifled in the presence of others, nor boxed into a gender in any meaning of the word. They are simply Amerion, no strings attached. [/center] [right]In terms of sexuality, Amerion is pansexual. Though there are some variations of the precise definition, how I see pansexuality in relation to Amerion is the idea that they love whomever they love regardless of gender. Think of it as not seeing gender as a factor in finding love. They know whoever they love has a gender and will respect that, use the right pronouns and terms, etc., but it doesn’t affect who they love. Currently they have a wife named [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=192055&tab=dragon&did=53513798]Phara[/url], who is cis. Beyond Amerion’s early years of passing crushes on an assortment of dragons, their sexuality doesn’t have a huge impact on their personality or actions. They are dedicated to Phara, yet firm in the understanding that they are pansexual. It's very cool that you got to use them to explore your own identity! Lore dragons are so great for so many reasons, and this is a great one. Amerion also looks very good! They've got a really interesting color combo and I do love a wildclaw.

She is the clan's guard captain. She likes bathing and she likes sharing baths with others. That's her favorite way to socialize. Hotsprings, bubblebaths, rainstorms, etc. She is known for being a very promiscuous, and she often makes moves during baths. Bathing is usually just for the relaxation, but not always. She thinks mating is a great way to get to know folks. She is involved with many individuals and doesn't seem interested in a monogamous relationship. She is one of the most well-liked dragons in the clan for her rather laid-back lifestyle. She is usually chill, but she is a very powerful dragon and is known for being quite intense when she needs to be. Nyura is an old dragon, and probably my first LGBTQ+ dragon, if not one of the first. She sort of just was Pansexual, I don't think I ever really [i]decided [/i]it. I'm not Pansexual myself, but I really like Nyura as a dragon. She is an oldie and a goldie.
