This one was the easiest to find. XXY abyss is super common, and I was able to buy this girl off the AH almost immediately after I had the idea to use abyss giraffe/hex. Originally she was metal/alloy/opal, so I had to buy glimmer. I was also gonna make her a snapper, but I like imperials too much and just couldn't do it XD

This one was not nearly as easy. I specifically wanted fern for the wings, but the primary and tert ranges weren't as specific; I just needed a darker green primary and some kind of grey tert. Turns out, this is pretty difficult to find! I ended up finding a breeding pair with a relatively close range, and I actually rented out a nest from someone in Nature because I really wanted him to have green eyes. Thankfully he hatched on the first nest, so I bought him bar, glimmer, and a wildclaw scroll. He's my most expensive of the bunch, for sure.

The problem was that I needed oilslick for the secondary; the other two colors were a little more lenient. But I finally found a breeding pair, and rented out the same Nature nest. It took a couple tries to get an oilslick baby, but at least there's no gem genes on this one!

But at the time, there were only three dragons to exist that had those colors, and they were all exalted. It took me ages to find a suitable breeding pair, and once I finally did, I was so anxious to finish this project that I didn't bother renting out a nest and just used my own. For reference on how long it took to find a pair: Baloris Prime was born nearly [i]one year[/i] after I hatched Brimspark.[/center]
