So I have a Lirael fandragon! If you don't know who that is, she's a character from the 2nd and 3rd book in the Old Kingdom Trilogy. (Great series, highly recommend for fantasy lovers.) Anyway here's what she looks like.

I'm quite happy with the colors and genes. the runes are like the charter marks and i think thats perfect!

Maybe add some Unicorn or kelpie manes?

ekjfhajlkfhkgdf she's BEAUTIFUL!! the old kingdom is one of my favorite fantasy series, i'm glad lirael has a fandragon on here! was rly hoping you had some sort of disreputable canine as her familiar and wasn't disappointed. also agree with Disillusionist that the runes really do look like charter marks. beautiful dragon!!
i've got a long term project to make fandragons of the nine bright shiners, or at least sabriel, but have no clue where to start. there isn't really much abhorsen-like apparel on the site. instead of bells, you could always try [item=wooden pipeflute] like she used early on?

It's been way too long since I read the books, even though I have them on the book shelf... I don't remember too much of the details, so the Lirael I have happened upon is more a visuel representation of how I remember the second book colourwise.
I have definitely considered the flutes for her too, one of the details I do remember.
