I'm sure we've all been there. We hatch an egg and get a g1 with colors that are ALMOST exactly what we hoped for, but one color is one or two steps up or down from being perfect. Or, we're working on a breeding project and we hatch a nest and we see our dream child -- gender, eyes, and everything! ...Except one of the colors is juuuust a liiiittle bit off from what we wanted, forcing us to wait for cooldowns upwards of half a month before trying again. Or, you design your custom progen and he or she is absolutely perfect....except that tert, which ruins the whole thing.
Maybe breeding isn't an option, due to hatch date or having gotten special eyes, or the other two colors are perfect and you don't want to ruin that, or the ID number. And so you keep the thing, and die inside every time you look at that dragon, dreaming of and yearning for what he or she could have been...
Share those dragons! (And, if you're interested, take a look at these items I came up with which would solve these heartaches.)
As for me, here's a couple.
This is my custom progen, Hiemis. I wanted him to look like he could blend into a winter landscape, having icy/muted colors. A true hunter of the tundra... His Jade tert totally ruins it. Honestly, a tert-only scatter scroll would work better on him since he's nowhere near where I want his tert to be (white/gray/black/brown range could be fine with the former three being more ideal) so I wouldn't use those items I came up with on him, but I'm okay with just leaving that tert basic. Still kind of bothers me, though.
But this guy... THIS GUY. DX If his primary was just two steps up from where it is (currently Cantaloupe, but I want him to have Sunset) he would be PERFECT.
This is Alec as he is.
This is what he could be if his primary was just 2 steps up (I would totally get him Petals at that point. He's my special boy.)
Edit: I thought you guys might be interested in showing off your dragons. :)
