I am not a fan of Smoke unless it's barely noticeable (XXX or XYYs, XYXs and XXYs in really close ranges). Out of all the terts, I'd say Smoke is my least favorite one. I'd like to get a dragon with Smoke tho, but to change my mind I'll probably need to see some nice-looking dragons with it. Show me some!

It's a situational gene, similar to crackle I think. I like how it looks around dragon's faces though, sometimes it gives a kinda eyeliner effect like jaguar.

I'd say that aside from colors, it largely depends on the breed. Some wear it better than others.
