These foul-tempered shapeshifters try to sneak themselves into clans and lairs to feed off of the love that their unwitting caretakers give them. However recently they have found dragons willing to take their hatchlings into their lairs and just give them the substance they so desprately crave to survive. Do you have the heart to approach the hive and accept one yourself?

Once thought to be completely extinct, this ancient line's Queen and King have been finally roused from their dormant, hibernative state by a curious recently turned Veilspun.

Queen Chrysalis, The mother of all the Changelings, rules with an iron fist. First thinking of nothing but conquering Sorneith in ancient times, she's learned that modern dragons are much more gullable and accepting of her kin. So she seeks to infect every lair she can with many of her cute, ferocious offspring.

King Thorax, Father to all changelings, has always been a lot more gentle and kind than his warmongering other half. He is actually relieved that their kind has been accepted into the modern era of dragons, though he fears the worst with his mate's temperment.

A murky, swampy egg that is pulsating with a strange purple glow. The egg feels as though it might just be full of fluid, but now and again, a dark form can be seen moving within.

In order to be considered a changeling one must be mindfull of their heritage.
[u][i][b]All changelings are born from Queen Chyrsalis and King Thorax. [/b][/i][/u]
As long as these Two are the herald of their lineage congratulations, your hatchling is an actual a love devouring insect dragon.
However Second Generation Changelings will [b]always[/b] be [b]Black/Teal/x[/b] and have either [b]Wasp[/b] or [b]Vipera[/b] as primaries and [b]Bee[/b] Secondary.

The Hivemind
This Dangerous species bears a close resemblance to changelings at an outer glance, and perhaps in a history as old as time itself the Queen had decended from a rogue Hivemind Drone. True Hives are to be avoided at all cost. However in modern times due to similar hiving nature most defective/failed complete assimalation drones can co-exist peacfully with a changeling, and several lairs have found it even beneficial to do so to keep both species in check.
