when i think about it, a majority of my dragons were snatched up from the AH at fodder prices, but that was literally several years ago, so i can't quite remember which were which. either way, i love them dearly, and then i thought: im probably not the only one?
so! this thread is what it says on the tin: snatched up a dragon at fodder prices at random and kept them, saved a dragon due for exalt from the forums or even via dragon search? this is the place to share them and their glow ups!

I had already planned on making a fandragon of Photoshop Flowey but I wasn't sure when.
I was bored and browsing the AH when I came across... well, an ugly imp. I already had the skin and some of the apparel so I snatched him up and turned him into this glorious being.

oh man, photoshop flowey's such a fun boss and chaotic design that if someone told me theyre making a fandragon of that, i wouldn't know what to expect— but he exceeds all expectations by far. just the right amount of chaotic while staying amazingly thematic— he fits flowey himself amazingly! thank you for sharing!!

this is a scry of her outfit becuz right now shes just a baby but the other day i picked up this gal for around 6500t i think! ....and then i immediately slapped a mirror breed change, clown, n underbelly scroll on her so she was actually kinda expensive.......but her colors were perfect for the evil pirate lady i had in my head i cant wait to get her all dressed up when she grows up

oh wow, you really made her look amazing! also, sometimes we just need to dump a lot of money into the kiddos we snatch up and thats okay. the yellow pants with her clown primary is so fitting and funky, and the layering on that scry is immaculate! i really love her wild raven hair— she reminds a bit of a tropical fish, come to think of it?

both of them have really nice monochrome/colorful contrasts going on! the yellow spines mesh into her bright secondary so nicely. resela looks like she might be a mistress of the mansion roaming the halls at night with a candle and her fur robes, wailing for the drama of it all?

first dragons are always pretty memorable, and those two guardians make a really good match! veilspun makeovers are also always so fun to look at— their unique genes really make for new color combinations that wouldnt work on most other dragons. im glad theyre all getting love :D
