From personal experince, i believe that new users the first thing they do is go to the AH and grab the first hatchlings they see. Usually, those dergs, as unimportant as they may seem at first, take over our hearts and become important pieces of our lair.
I was wondering, if any of you still have your first ever bought dragon? and if so, does it have a story? I am extremly curious to see each story.
My first ever derg was Liria. I am still working around her lore, but she is extremly precious to me (bought her july the 20th, first day i joined!)

Thought Cheruvio was super pretty as a hatchling, and I'm still rather fond of his genes now x) He's actually the first dragon I ever trained to level 25 as well, I'm glad I've kept him all these years. Doesn't have a full story but he does have some bullet point lore in his bio!

I had vague ideas for lore but ultimately, it never really amounted to anything, but I still kept her because I like her blues. She's also the first I bred, which I now regret because I exalted her unnamed kids not knowing what I was doing or what that would mean, and it bugs me even now to see that on her profile. LOL

Lore wise, she tried to take over the clan leadership after tricking Maeniel into sacrificing himself to Stormcatcher. The clan picked another leader to fill the role and for years she followed the clan plotting revenge. I haven't delved too deep into what happened to her out there, but she's been accepted back into the clan and she now serves as a representative to the beastclans. She also trained Aydan and Bau to join her and Boethia in the coliseum, and she sometimes helps train Maeniel now that he's back from serving the gods.

For IKTR please choose Fandragons that have less stars. Thanks! Most Fandragons have been moved to my Hibden. I have a few others floating around my lair.

Idk if this was the absolute first derg I bought, but he’s one of them. He was adorable as a bab and was being sold for a fodder price, so I bought him. He looked less pretty as he grew up, but I still love him. Now he’s level 25 in the coli, and is part of my two-fodder build.
