I agree that keeping him smol shows off his details more! I don't really know how to explain it, but he looks much more space-y as a hatchling, that starmap is extra popping. The grown version kinda loses that nice pop and becomes a little busy in some areas.

I love making outfits, it's my fave part of the game. But making him a permabab just shows off his colors and genes so much better

Personally, my criterion for permababying is "Does it look so much better than the adult that it's worth the cost of a youth scroll?" In this case, I think he looks great as an adult too, but I do admit he looks a bit better as a baby! His genes are interesting even without skin/cents or apparel and the eye color is also absolutely perfect, so I'd say it would be worth it if it's what you want. :)
