black, white, gray, all of the above. just as the title says, show me y'all's grayscale dragons 'cause i love working with color schemes like that and i don't do it enough. i wanna see other dragons because of this whole mess irl involving my ceiling. we called about a leak in august and the leak is fixed but i have three big pieces of cardboard over the holes they cut into the ceiling and it's april now and they've been completely silent and it makes me extremely angry because i'm tired of waking up and being reminded that my ceiling still isn't fixed
in short? i'm tired of being mad and i need a distraction from this infuriating situation. i'll share some of my dragons to start us off.
still working on his lore even though he's a dream dragon and i should've finished it ages ago.. oops. i do have ideas for him, though, but nothing too polished.
tomahawk is a bounty hunter/assassin who is the right-hand man another dragon named kumori who's more of a vigilante, but tomahawk lives by the principle that good dragons are often punished and bad ones are rewarded even if he doesn't like it. unfortunately kumori is easily manipulated into going after someone so long as he's convinced they're "bad", but tomahawk is often able to see through the lies and shut it down. without him, kumori would probably be in a lot of trouble, more than he already is in at least. tomahawk does his best to try and help kumori understand that even if he's good, some dragons still may not respect him, or they'll take advantage of him whether or not he deserves it. it's just the way things are.
that's not to say tomahawk ignores morality entirely, he certainly wouldn't go out of his way to make someone suffer for his own personal gain. but he believes that respect is earned, and sometimes it'll be necessary to earn it through less redeemable actions in order to be taken seriously by certain crowds. he'd be the type to say "you can't fight a monster without becoming one in the first place".
DEFECTIVE is a drone that was born with no connection to the hivemind, and it escaped its birth hive. it was found in the southern icefield by gaolers who captured and imprisoned it. none of them know if it's supposed to be a dragon or what, but it is confused and hostile. only time will tell if it turns out to be a big threat or not.
speaking of the hivemind, cygnus is my extremely problematic spiderchild (which is funny because i find spiders cool, but if i see an image of one i scream and punch a hole in my screen. forget about if i saw one IRL, i'd freak out and run. oddly enough i can talk about them without getting scared, but imagery is what changes everything for me). cygnus is one of my personal favorites despite all their flaws, and they've gotta be on the list for "lore i'm most proud of" honestly. i apologize for the novel in their bio.
as you may be able to tell i am a lore lair, and i will go from being absolutely fuming to rambling and interested once we're talking about lore. i love pretty dragons and if there's lore, bonus points.
