I really hope this is an art error but seeing as it's consistent between all three arts for the breed I'm inclined to doubt it. I love giraffe but they really didn't do it any justice for the Obelisks :c

This is definitely worse for some colors than others, but it's like that for Hex too. Which is way too bad because I think it'll look good. But usually new breeds are followed by a wave of corrections, I really hope that's one of them.

Yeah I went to the art error thread just after making this, seems like more people think so than just me. I should've checked before making a thread, huh? xD
Honestly, if it weren't for me liking giraffe the way it is on other breeds, this would've been kinda neat

I wouldn't be surprised if they change it. I almost went to report it as a bug because I didn't see the pattern at all lol. Thankfully it seems like the only pattern "problem" and all the other ones are super pretty!

Yea that looks very different than what was implemented so it was probably an error. Looks really neat though, especially the freckles on the mane!

I kinda actually really like it like this. It's different and subtle.
But the Giraffe/Hex on Osiem's tumblr looks good too- might be because of the color tho.
Either way, I'd be fine with whatever version the decide to choose.

I actually really like how subtle it is! But it also wouldn't surprise me if they changed it to match better with the art on the other dragons
