Very nice, look like they may mingle with magmarunners...
Perhaps they were petrified in or close to the Flamecallers territory hence the molten appearance?!
I had to look up foodog but I see it is the equivalent of the shishi that grace every house/building entrance in Okinawa.
In a general sense Obelisks kinda reminded me of gargoyles but fluffy, but now you mention foodogs I'm right there with you!
They are exactly that!

Your scry of the Magmarunner is gorgeous. And the FooDogDragon scries are really promising with those two hatchlings. Even have a possibility of metals xxx. Nice snag on the boy.
