OOoooo! I think change it! It looks like it adds a charge in the wings and it works with the accent :D

it is extremely difficult to make a judgment call on flaunt due to the accent brightwings is wearing, so consider for a moment how important it is to change flaunt on him with that in mind!
with that said, here are the dragons without anything on:

if you ask me, i'm a TOTAL sucker for flaunt/flare, so i'm already biased to say yes to flafla as is, but i actually like it for a more legitimate reason, too: orchid glimmer is actually represented in flafla, particularly on flare's wingtips! for cohesion alone i'd definitely vote yes on flare, although again where it comes to flaunt i would ask that you consider how important it is to you to get the matching version if the primary can't be seen anyway. if the dragon is going to be bred and you want to have flaunt passed on, go for it!

Brightwings is indeed a breeding dragon. His mate has Radioactive Python/Trail. She will definitely NOT be getting Flaunt/Flare as it just doesn't match her outfit at all.

While I think that the purple that accompanies the Flare looks really nice alongside the wings, I agree that the change is a bit subtle when paired with the accent. (Which really shines. ^-^)

Oh that's a hard one. I love my gem genes, but the flaunt flare does complement the tert much better. Then those genes would breed better too with that mate. Hmmmm.
