Now,,, I think she's perfect. I wanted her to have a very, "Oasis in a dessert" vibe, and something about the Kelpie Mane just suddenly pulled everything together the way I wanted! A couple of months ago I stumbled over a random scry (which you can find a screenshot of in her bio) and I really loved it so I wanted to find a derg for it. I even started a breeding project for a while but stopped since it felt like a too big task for me at that time. Fast forewad and cut to me checking the ah out of habit and seeing her up for sale. The exact same colors, and while she doesn't have earth eyes she came with matching light eyes! I was hopeing to find a derg with these colors and would've totally fine with a gen2+ but here she is, the perfect dragon and a gen1! It's so amazing you managed to find the exact scry you were looking for!! His genes & colors are so unique, but work PERFECTLY. He reminds me of the Japanese art of Kintsugi - that is, fixing something broken with gold, so as to HIGHLIGHT and showcase the beauty of the crack, instead of hiding it!
